Live GeniePad Webinars

Sometimes you may have questions that we don't have anwers to on our website. Perhaps, you have a question on the features and benefits of GeniePad. Perhaps someone in your community would like to receive some training. Perhaps you as a board or council would like to see a live demonstration.

These were some of the inquiries we received in the last little while and have decided to do something about it. We understand that at times it's best to talk to someone in person and have all your questions answered on the spot. In order to make this happen, Rafal, the founder of GeniePad, will be hosting weekly live webinars.

To see the availability and join a webinar simply go to the link below. Seats are limited, so it is best to register quickly.

SMS Notifications - New GeniePad feature coming!

When you need to inform your residents of emergencies such as a water leak, flood, water shutdown, power shutdown, or just that the elevator is down and maintenance is on their way, how do you notify your residents?

Most property management companies, or boards, drive to the property and post a notice in the elevator, or a common area. But during that time they will receive countless phone calls asking, sometimes not so politely, what is going on again? Why aren't you on top of this? Why aren't you doing your job? Well, all this can be eliminated. Including the printing of the notice and delivering it to the property.

Option number one which is available already, is to post a news announcement on GeniePad. Everyone in your community would be notified via e-mail. Residents with a smart phone like the iPhone, Blackberry, or Android would receive this e-mail immediately. But some check their e-mail once an hour, or a few times a day. So what do you do when you need to notify everyone IMMEDIATELY?

You go with option number 2. Automatic SMS / Text notifications.

Condo, strata, hoa SMS notifications and messaging

How would you feel, and look for that matter, if you could notify everyone in your community instantly? Before anyone places a call? With instant SMS / Text notifications, your message or notification will be sent straight to your residents' cell phone. Regardless if it's a smart phone or not.

All you will have to do is go to your GeniePad portal, type out your message, and simply click a button. GeniePad will take care of everything else and magic will happen :)

We are happy to announce that this feature will be available by the end of November.

If you are a GeniePad user, and would like to beta test this feature, please let us know.

Strata, HOA, Co-Op, and Condo Website Theme

It has been a while, but we managed to release a new website theme. This theme will work great regardless if your association is a Strata, Co-Op, Homeowners Association, or a regular condominium. Lately we have been receiving requests to add more generic website themes which can fit any type of association. So, like always, we listened and delivered.

Overview

This theme is based on darker colours which will be a great fit for properties with darker brick or darker siding. We also removed the most recent news announcements and classifieds from the side. We felt this change will cleanup the design and allow visitors to focus more on the content.

In order to change the look of your website and select this theme, you can simply do so under the administrative section of your GeniePad account. In order to make this change, you must have Administrative access.

Responsive layout

Just like with our previous theme, we have created a responsive layout. With a responisve layout, you can view your strata, HOA, Co-Op or Condo website on a mobile device such as an iPhone or Android. The website will change it's layout automatically so you won't have to scroll or zoom in or out.

Enjoy :)
